Writer’s Insight July: Post #CampNaNo Vol. 2

Last year was my first foray into the #NanoWriMo world (thanks, Joynell Schultz!), where I worked on drafting my second novel. But I didn’t win. 🙁

This July’s camp, I focused on editing my first novel. I was more cognizant of deadlines, and with a little modifying of my goals, I won! But I struggled the second half of the month. (See this post for why) Still, this win makes me feel good despite the fact that I will now have to start over (possibly even re-edit some of my pages that I edited during NaNo) with another round of re-writes to this manuscript. More on starting over, later. Now, I just want to bask in the win. For once, I’m a winner!
