Kelly Hartog and I are members of the Women’s Fiction Writer’s Associaation. She’s been a part of many virtual write-ins and her presence has helped me get over a hurdle or two in my writing.
I knew Kelly was awaiting a kidney, but when I saw the following post from another member, I had to reach out to ask your your help:
Kelly is awaiting a kidney transplant and has to, unfortunately, turn away work right now for medical reasons. And when I say it takes a lot for Kelly to not work, I mean, this is a woman who survived a suicide bomber in Kenya and managed to write the story even then. Please consider donating something to the GoFundMe her friend Kymberly Harris has set up to help with Kelly’s living expenses.
